Is that why I keep seeing that light? I thought I was having a stroke.

For this prompt, I chose Cracker’s Another Song About the Rain, not because it’s my favorite song (it is my favorite Cracker song, however), but because I’ve been wracking my brain for a while now as to what song to choose and it’s raining right now.
I’m not one to dance. I don’t sing terribly well or play any instruments. If we’re being honest— and isn’t that sort of the point with these portraits?— music is not a very important part of me. I enjoy music, I’m saying not saying I don’t, but I don’t seek out new music. I’ve ranted many times to far too many people about how I couldn’t choose ten bands from the last twelve years that I enjoy.
This song.
I’ve been in something of a morose mood for… Too long, to be honest. It’s storming right now. And I’m lonely and missing people and this song seemed appropriate. Not quite depressing, but not horribly upbeat and cheerful. And I have a bottle of whiskey and it’s definitely a whiskey sort of song. It’s a song that I let wash over me while the whiskey burns in my throat.
It’s a song that suits me.
A post from The Oatmeal named “Types of Extremists” this is obviously my favorite.
Uh, hi, am I breathing?

I am convinced that Rebekah talked me into buying this jacket because it is something that Dean Winchester would wear.
GDSP #6 - Noir
I was going for that scene in a film where someone is sitting in a dark hotel room waiting for the hero to arrive. I’ll let you decide if I pulled it off.
So, now it’s my turn to direct a self-portrait. The theme for GDSP #6 is Noir.
Everyone has a little darkness inside of them. Let’s see yours.
